The Southern Soul Spinners will be putting their vinyl wares on display tomorrow at the VFW Post in the City Of Industry. Sweet Soul, Funk & R&B tunes will be blaring out of the speakers and judging by todays weather it should be a good day for beer drinking. Soulera 5150 & Ruben Molina lead an all-star cast of dee-jays for your listening & dancing pleasure.

SOUTHERN SOUL SPINNERS HIT THE ROAD

Ruben Molina, Soulera 5150 and the rest of the Southern Soul Spinner crew hit the road & head for Las Vegas, Nevada on the Veteran's Day weekend for a show at The Beauty Bar on November 12, 2011. Plenty of vintage vinyl will be on the turntables if you can break away from the gambling tables.

FOURTH OF JULY SOUL-A-BRATION

Just a reminder that Saturday, July 2, 2011 is another chance for you to see Azusa's own Chicano Soul group Balance with lead singer Sammy Medina. I have seen this group several times & take it from me these dudes "funk it up" non-stop from the moment they hit the stage. Funky uptempo tunes & soulful ballads for your dancing pleasure.
  Also on the bill are the return of the Southern Soul Spinners with DJs Soulera 5150 and the incomparable Ruben Molina who will spin soulful vinyl classics and hard to find records. Throw in a whole lot of beer and some low rider cars and a good time will be had by all.

The Southern Soul Spinners will be spinning their rare vinyl on June 11,2011 in the City Of Industry, CA located at 16157 E Gale St. Show starts at 3 PM and runs till 8 PM. Try not to be late. I went to the last show & walked in at 3:15 PM after taking some pictures of the classic cars & found that every seat in the main room was taken.
  If you like hanging out with the homies, sipping on a cold one and kicking back & listening to some rare sweet soul rolas then this is the place to be.
